West Highlands 2019
Dreamy moors and stags in the rain.
Again I am drawn to beautiful Scotland under the direction of Marc Graf. This time in October (without midges), at arguably the best time to experience the fantastic, frosty morning hours on Rannoch Moor, marvel and the wonderful wide landscapes with watercourses in Glencoe and Glen Etive and take in the most colorful autumn mood in the Cairngorm National Park. Heart, what more could you want? Maybe some photogenic deer as well? Yes, that’s no problem on this wonderful photo tour, served with a side of Scottish weather, of course. What you should not do in the moor, however, is to lie on your stomach in the morning to take pictures. That’s what happened in our group, when one of the colleagues quickly melted his way through the frosty moorland, and his clothes resembled a spa mud pack. At the end of our Highlands tour we spend another evening in the venerable medieval center of Edinburgh.
