Radiologist by occupation, proud father of three daughters, and passionate amateur photographer I live in the beautiful Neunkirchen in Lower Austria.
My love for photography already began before I stepped onto my image-rich carrier path, namely around age fifteen whenI received my first camera, a Minolta X-300. Photography quickly became my most valued pastime
and since 2016 I regularly partake in photography journeys. These wonderful adventures not only broaden my horizon and expedite my photographic learning curve, most of all they bring me immense joy.
At this point I mainly use fullframe Sony cameras and aim to render my pictures as true to nature as possible in the editing process. While my focus rests on landscape, travel, and animal photography,
near my home I also enjoy to wander through the forests and woods, using my vintage macro lenses in order to picture the minuscule world in its magnificent detail. Essentially, the interaction and exchange with the environment, the continuously changing climate, and the question of what we owe the next generation that is to inherit this earth perpetually impact my ambitions.
